Yesterday Owen had his second appointment with the dentist and he did great! He let them take x-rays of his upper and lower front teeth (which they said look great). Then the let them brush he teeth (quite thoroughly I might add) and then polish them (yes - with the little spinny machine thingy) and then brush flouride on them! He even let the lady use the little water sprayer and suction tool to clean out his mouth after each step. I was so proud of him! Then the dentist came in and peeked around and said everything looks great. Now if I can just get him to let me brush them better at home! :) Needless to say, he got a prize which was a shiny blue ring and 2 stickers (1 from the hygenist and 1 from the dentist). He's such a good boy!
After the dentist, we stopped by Miss Debi's house to visit and introduce sister to her. He was a little quiet around her, but he showed her his new toothbrush and ring and got to play there for a little bit. Then, when it was time to go, she gave him a nice wooden puzzle. She is so sweet! I wish so much we still lived close enough for him to stay with her. Hopefully we can find someone like her to keep sister soon! Thank you Miss Debi! We miss you!
